Repair: HP 5328A part 2

Let’s follow part 1

It looks like that A2Q1 is fine but at least the problem is narrowed down to this DC-DC buck converter which brings the 26V rail to 5V.

I am starting to suspect A2U1 but I didn’t have enought time to do any measurement so I am not yet sure were the problem is.

I hope to find the problem next week.

  2. In your post it states that the Led light strips with tape on can still be used once Cut. I cut 1 inch off and tryed to find wires in it. Could nit find any at all as how could I use this long led strip or is it no good?
