A Late Happy 2016

I am late.

Lately, I really am always late.

I am doing a lot of things, wishing I could do more but actually I need to do less. I cannot keep up with things. It is starting to deteriorate some of my relationships.

Little mistakes happen. I just wish to be less tired and avoid big mistakes.

Among the other things that I cannot keep up with is this blog. Less than 21 14 days before the cancellation of this site and I still don’t know if I should bother. I will probably renew it anyway, just because.

There are a lot of things I need to write on this blog. Just to name a few:

  • FEI fe-5680b rubidium frequency standard (Part 1)
  • HP 5314A Universal Counter (closely related to the frequency standard)
  • Tektronix TDS 210
  • HP 54200A
  • Trimble Resolution T
  • HP 1630G Logic Analyzer
  • my adventures with node.js, javascript and embedded GNU/Linux
  • DIY reflow oven (even if there isn’t any need for one more diy reflow oven)
  • Fun with Peltier cells (and measurement too..)
  • OCXO
  • The end of a ZD-912 (and what you can still use)
  • Fun with Texas Instruments MCU
  • electroplating pcb holes
  • Fun with R (and some work with your data)
  • HP 16500B and R
  • More fun with elmer
  • many more things…

I don’t think I will be able to write about all the things mentioned in the list. Last year I wrote about 6 posts (and some of them were rather lame).

Maybe this year I will be able to write three posts.

Maybe it will be my new year resolution (along with paying my bills).

Maybe not.

But if I happen to be able to write a post, I will link to it from the list I made above. I think it will be real depressing seeing the months fly by and the list unchanged.
