I bought this graphic LCD on a whim. It was cheap and I wanted to experiment with graphic displays after having playied with alfanumeric displays.
This GLCD is marked as 12864A, revision J. The label shows the brand. In short, this is a 128×64 pixel display from Winstar, so finding the datasheet is actually easy.
However, there is a little proble: the datasheet isn’t right for my model. The datasheet refers to a display with a white back-lite. My display uses a spiffy RGB backlight. So there are two more pins in the header (a common anode and three cathodes).
There is little more to write: the display is based around NT7108 so it’s rather common. There are a lot of libraries to use it with Arduino or, maybe, with a FPGA.
